New Website Online for Taney County Sheriff's Office

The Taney County Sheriff's Office has updated their website.

According to a release from the Sheriff's Office, the website went active on August 26 and is a new responsive website where citizens can find the latest information regarding the operations of the Sheriff's Office.

The Taney County Sheriff's Office launched a new responsive website on August 26, 2026, where citizens can find the latest information regarding the operations of the Sheriff's Office, as well as inmate bookings, released inmates, most wanted individuals, and area sex offenders. 

The new website, TaneyMoSheriff.gov will serve as an information resource for the public and assist with community policing efforts. The responsive design allows site visitors to access the information they want and need from any device (desktop, laptop, tablet, and smartphone) with simple, flexible navigation.

A new App will be available in the Google Play Store and Apple Store soon! Once the App is available in both stores, app push notifications will be available. Please check the "Download Our App" page, TaneyMoSheriff.gov/app in the near future.

Some of the features and functions on the newly upgraded website include: 

• Alerts: Notifications via App will be available soon - including General, Inmate Roster, Sheriff's Messages, Press Releases.
• Contact Form: An online form available to contact the Sheriff's Office via email. 
• Departments & Services: Information available regarding the departments & services of the Sheriff's Office organized on different pages.
• Forms: Allows users to submit online forms created by the Sheriff's Office.
• Home Page Links: Important information that can be easily navigable by users on the home page or inner pages including Inmate roster and press releases.
• Inmate Roster: Allows the public to view photos and information for individuals booked into the detention center and/or released within the last 48 hours.
• Press Releases: Allows the public to view a list in date order of press releases and news items posted by the Sheriff's Office.
• Sheriff's Message: Recent messages from the Sheriff with the ability to view all previous messages shared.
• Social Media Links: Allows users to follow or view the Taney County Sheriff's Office on Facebook and LinkedIn.

All citizens of Taney County and the general public are encouraged to visit our new website! Website administrators will be able to publish important information including updated information, upcoming events, recent news, and more! The website will be updated continually, with new information that will benefit all users.

"Posting information on the website improves the efficiency of the Sheriff's Office by reducing the number of inquiry calls handled by our office. This tool allows us to devote more resources to the safety and security of our residents. Our intent is for every county resident to visit the site and become familiar with how to submit a crime tip and where to find the latest news and updates from the Sheriff's Office. We believe the website is a huge benefit to the Sheriff's Office and the residents of Taney County as well," said Sheriff Brad Daniels.
