An area of Newton County has been placed under a Boil Water Order.
According to information released by the Arkansas Department of Health, the area of Ponca Bible Camp has been placed under the Boil Order due to a positive test for E. Coli. The order issued on Monday is in place for the entire water system.
Customers in the water system are advised to boil water for at least one minute prior to drinking or using to prepare food. Any ice made previous to the order should be discarded.
