A woman from Branson West who sustained serious injuries in a single vehicle crash is also facing possession charges.
Two reports on the incident were filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol The first details the crash that occurred around 10:50 Friday evening when a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Frances Benson ran off Highway 76 in Branson West and overturned. The report indicates Benson was taken by air to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.
The second report was filed just after midnight indicating that Benson was arrested on felony possession of methamphetamine. The report indicates she was released after her arrest.
