An indictment has been issued in a case that has been under investigation by several agencies.
A post by the Barry County Sheriff's Office on Facebook indicates that 42-year-old Chrystal Dawn Fanning of Neosho is facing federal charges of with Possession and Distribution Charges of Fentanyl after she and Jared Dodge of Eagle Rock were arrested in Missouri’s Newton County in September and found with over 600 grams of fentanyl pills which she later admitted she bought out of state and distributed in several areas including Barry County.
Sheriff's officials had been working with the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team and the Drug Enforcement Administration on the case for several months.
After the federal indictment was handed down, Fanning was arrested by Barry County Officials.
