A surge of warm, windy weather is in the forecast for the next couple of days.
Wind Advisories have been issued for parts of the Lakes Region today with gusts exceeding 30 MPH at times.
The warm conditions will extend into Friday with rain in the forecast for Friday night. The National Weather Service says there is a marginal chance of strong to severe thunderstorms with small hail being the primary threat.
Rain will clear out by Saturday with temperatures back around normal for this time of year.
