A planned project for a Wind Farm in Carroll County is expected to be discussed at Tuesday's Quorum Court Meeting.
Scout Clean Energy is planning to put wind turbines in parts of the county to help generate electricity. According to the company's website, project is estimated to expand over approximately 9,000 acres of rural Arkansas hill country. The project, named Nimbus, could potentially be the first wind project in Arkansas.
Several residents are expected at the meeting to protest the project. The meeting is set to begin at 5:00 at the Carroll County Courthouse in Berryville.
