Which Table Rock Lake Swim Beaches Have Reopened?

High E. Coli Levels have been challenging to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at area swim beaches.

According to releases from the Little Rock District Office, some beaches have been closed multiple times due to the E.coli levels rising above safe limits.

In updates posted over the last three days, the swim beaches at Aunts Creek, Big M, Cape Fair, and Old Highway 86 have all reopened. Testing by the Stone County Health Department has shown that the E. Coli levels are back to acceptable levels for the safety of visitors.

Another recent challenge at Table Rock Lake has been the lake Flood Storage filling up due to recent rains which has led to the Corps opening the flood gates at Table Rock Dam into Lake Taneycomo. The high water levels have also led to some campgrounds closing some sites due to high water. Sites at Baxter, Campbell Point, and Mill Creek are closed though the campgrounds remain open with sites that are not impacted by the high water.
