Area Firefighters had to deal with a pair of fires in the Lakes Region over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District along with firefighters from Berryville, Green Forest, and Oak Grove battled a blaze at Highway EE and Avery Ridge Road in Blue Eye. No other details have been released so far on this fire from Southern Stone County Fire.
Meanwhile, the Branson Fire Department along with Southern Stone County and Western Taney County Firefighters fought a blaze on Sunday in a wooded area near Kirkland Drive behind Friendly Baptist Church. According to a post from Branson Mo Fire-Rescue, no injuries were reported in the fire it took five hours to extinguish.
