The spring like weather the Lakes Region has experienced for Christmas Week will be pushed out with an Arctic Blast.
The National Weather Service says a front will move through the region this afternoon as temperatures will reach the 70s just afternoon before a wind shift to the northwest will send the temperatures downward, getting into the 20s by the end of the day.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for both southern Missouri and northern Arkansas today with gusty winds up to 40 MPH possible.
Forecasters say there is a slight chance of rain as the front moves through the region with a small chance of severe storms mainly in the eastern part of the Ozarks.
