Unlike the Christmas Holiday Weekend which saw recording breaking cold and wind chill readings, the New Year’s Weekend looks to be much warmer.
National Weather Service Forecasters say after a warm day today, a cold front will cool things down back into the 50’s for highs on Friday but then get right back into the 60’s for both New Year’s Eve Saturday and New Year’s Day on Sunday. After several days of windy conditions, winds will die down after today for most of the weekend.
A chance of rain is in the forecast for tonight and earlier Friday with a better chance of rain in the forecast for Monday.
