According to a press release Table Rock Quilts of Honor will present Veterans with a special quilt on Aug. 5 at 9 a.m.
This will take place at the Mid-Town Café in Reeds Spring. This is the sixth time this presentation has occurred there. The press release states that the mission “of Quilts of Honor is to bestow a universal symbol of thanks and remembrance to those who have served to protect and defend our lives freedoms.”
“Quilts of Honor are made by the loving hands of countless volunteers who wish to thank those who have served and to honor their service and sacrifice.” This group of volunteers has presented over 700 veterans with their “Quilted Hugs of Gratitude” since they started. “We appreciate their supporting our mission. Our hope is that these quilts will provide comfort, love and healing to those who have given so much.”
