KHOZ’s Around The Table Camp Jack food pantry -- an organization that serves Veterans and their families.
Tim Miner appeared on KHOZ's Around The Table to discuss his work at Camp Jack. Miner, a four-year Air Force veteran, said he went to a food bank and later got involved with a food cupboard. While serving others in Diamond City, Miner decided to move to Harrison. After reading an article about Camp Jack, he got involved with them.
He said in addition to the cupboard, there is a clothing bank and first aid kit. Miner said they recently helped a family of six. They also discussed some of the issues they have had getting help. Miner added that Camp Jack also helps navigate VA issues.
The Camp Jack food pantry is open Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
