Utility pole removal will cause some lane closures on W. 76 Country Blvd.
According to a release from the City of Branson, drivers will see temporary lane closures in the eastbound lane from the Branson Ferris Wheel to the Presley’s Country Jubilee today and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. while crews begin the removal of the utility poles as part of the final stages of the W. 76 Country Blvd Utility Undergrounding project.
The removal of the utility poles will involve temporary lane closures in the eastbound lane for equipment trucks and crews working in the area. Great effort is being taken to ensure minimal impact to businesses, customers and properties in the area. Signage will be in place to detour traffic around the lane closure and to meet traffic safety standards during the removal. Drivers are asked to be aware of changing traffic patterns and work crews in the marked Work Zone.
After the utility poles are removed, the city will begin the final step of installing street and pedestrian lights.
