Updates on the Polar Express

Each year, the City of Hollister looks forward to converting our community into the North Pole, welcoming each of the Branson Scenic Railway’s Polar Express Trains to Hollister and celebrating Christmas with our residents, businesses, and visitors. As such, we are excited to add to and upgrade our decorations this year. You can be a part of our campaign and help us improve and enhance our Christmas celebration.

We are looking forward to adding new lighted designs to the fence at the Historic Train Depot and expanding our decorations to include Connell Park. We anticipate upgrading items currently in storage with new LED lights and purchasing others to complete our 2023 revamp.

Beginning in September, we will kick-off our donation campaign in preparation for the 2023 season, which begins at our Annual Downing Street Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, November 3rd. If you are interested in donating to our campaign, please send checks to City Hall, PO Box 638, Hollister, MO 65673, Attn: Christmas Donation Campaign.
