The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for parts of northern Arkansas.
The NWS Office in Tulsa has issued the warning for Carroll and Madison Counties as well as Benton and Washington Counties until 2:00 this afternoon.
The statement from the weather service is calling for sustained winds of up to 40 MPH with possible gusts approaching 60 MPH into the early afternoon.
The statement from the National Weather Service indicates property damage is possible with those strong wind gusts.
The rest of the region remains under a Wind Advisory for today with possible wind gusts of 40-50 MPH through the day.
