Parts of the Lakes Region are now under a Excessive Heat Warning.
That warning is in effect both today and Friday in Arkansas for Harrison and the surrounding Boone County as well as for Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties.
Heat Index Readings are expected to go above 110 both days in that region.
The rest of the Lakes Region, including Carroll and Madison Counties as well as all of southern Missouri including the Branson area.
