A pair of teenagers reported as missing in a nearby county have been found safe.
According to a Facebook post from the Douglass County Sheriff’s Office, 15-year-olds Mya Berckmiller and Ryan Knight had run away from the Ozark Trails Academy for Troubled Teens in Eastern Douglas County on Saturday.
A follow-up post from the department on Monday indicated that the two teens had been found and were safe.

These two teens ran away from the Ozark Trails Academy for troubled teens on 181 Highway in eastern Douglas County Saturday night.
A search was conduct throughout the night by the Douglas County Sheriffs Office, Eastern Douglas County FD, Twin Bridges FD and volunteers.
The search is continuing for the missing teens.
There is nothing at this time to indicate any foul play or that are in immediate danger.

Both have been entered into the State and National data base as missing/runaways.
