The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a pair of traffic crashes in Stone County late in the day Wednesday.
The first crash occurred just before 6:00 when a SUV ran off the right side of Highway A in Hurley striking a ditch then a bridge support. 18-year-old Kayla Harrison of Crane was taken to Mercy Hospital in Aurora for treatment of serious injuries.
The second crash occurred around 6:20 on Highway 76 in Branson West when a motorcycle drifted into the path of a car coming the opposite direction. The driver of the motorcycle, 28-year-old Travis Carlise of Rockaway Beach, was taken by Air Ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of serious injuries.
