MISSOURI – President Donald Trump announced that the state of Missouri will be receiving $2.5 million for individual assistance following the severe weather events that happened earlier this year.
“I told (Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe) that I am approving $2.5 million dollars in individual assistance after severe storms, high winds, large hail, flash flooding, and tornadoes, which occurred earlier this year,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Wednesday afternoon.
One of the most notable weather disasters the city of St. Louis saw in 2025 was the May 16 tornado. The tornado resulted in five deaths, as well as an estimated $1.6 billion in damages.
