Traffic around the Lakes Region over the weekend had to work their way around a pair of traffic crashes.
According to the reports by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the first crash took place just before 7:00 Saturday evening on Highway 76 east of Branson when a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Carly Long of Dexter failed to yield to a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Brandon Bagwell of Hollister. Both drivers sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment.
The second crash took place Sunday night around 8:00 east of Bull Creek on Highway F when a car driven by 29-year-old Todd Powell of Branson traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. Powell escaped with only minor injuries that were also treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
