Visitors planning on attending the Wings of Pride Airshow presented by Cox Health at the Branson Airport are advised of a change in the traffic pattern on Highway 65.
According to a post on the event's Facebook page, motorists traveling southbound on Highway 65 to Branson Airport will not be able to access the crossover at Buffalo Ridge Boulevard. Drivers will need to exit Highway 65 at the Hollister Interchange and then use Bird Road and Maple Street to reach Buffalo Ridge Boulevard.
Meanwhile, northbound traffic on Highway 65 will be reduced to one lane, with the driving lane dedicated to vehicles turning right onto Buffalo Ridge Boulevard.
Motorists are also reminded that the first two days of the air show will overlap with the final two days of PBR Thunder Days at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, resulting in heavier-than-normal traffic volumes during that time.
Drivers should expect traffic delays and areas of stopped traffic between Branson and Ridgedale throughout the duration of these events.
