A weather system that has produced severe weather today will move through the Lakes Region later tonight.
The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the Branson area through tonight until 2:00 am Monday morning. The Missouri Lakes area counties of Barry, Stone, Taney, and Ozark are included in the watch area.
Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms according to the NWS. The first round of storms have impacted areas north of I-44 The next round will develop and move through the area late this evening into tonight.
The watch is currently limited to Missouri. No watches have been posted to this point for the Arkansas Lakes Region, though Benton and Washington Counties in northwest Arkansas are under a Tornado Watch until Midnight.
