While most Branson area attractions are closed for the season, the weather is providing its own roller coaster ride in the first days of 2026.
The National Weather Service forecast continues to reflect the up and down trend.
The downward part of the ride is this weekend, with high temperatures only in the 50s today and even colder Sunday, with highs only in the 40s. Strong winds will make the temperature feel colder during the weekend.
The Lakes Region will get to the up part of the ride on Monday, as temperatures shoot back into the 50s with 60s degree readings possible on Tuesday before heading back into the downward cycle Wednesday with highs in the 50s, then the 40s on Thursday.
No precipitation is in the forecast through the next seven days.
