The Lakes Region will continue to experience a warm-up in February.
Since Winter Storm Fern hit the Lakes Region on January 24 and 25 bringing several inches of snow and below zero temperatures, the Lake Region has been in a general warming trend with an occasion return to colder air. That warming trend takes a big upward trend over the next several days as high temperatures will reach into the 60s today and then move into the 70s as the week progresses.
There is a chance of rain in the forecast Tuesday night ahead of a front that will cool temperatures down, but highs will only drop into the 50s the rest of the week which is still above normal for February. Low temperatures are not expected to drop below freezing for the next seven days.
