A woman from Kissee Mills is in the Taney County Jail facing five felony charges of Animal Abuse.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by the Taney County Sheriff's Office, Lisa Kidwell is accused of leaving her dogs in a closed-up camper with no air conditioning with all five dogs eventually dying. Officers found the dogs in several different levels of decay meaning they died over different periods of time. The evidence indicated that Kidwell had moved out of the camper some time ago abandoning the dogs.
