An investigation by the Ozark County Sheriff's Department resulted in the arrest of a registered sex offender from Taney County living in Ozark County without registering as required by law.
According to a post from the Ozark County Sheriff Facebook page, Brian Cuthbertson was spotted by a deputy last week near the residence he had been staying. After a traffic stop, Cuthbertson was being placed under arrest when he resisted, and force was needed to finish the arrest.
Cuthbertson is still in the Ozark County Jail on a $7500 cash bond on charges of failure to register as a sex offender and resisting arrest.
