Updated numbers released Friday morning indicate six more COVID-19 Deaths have been reported in Taney County.
The Taney County Health Department, in a press release, indicates that five of the six deaths have occurred in July with the other death in June ranging in age from their 40's to 80's.
114 Taney County Residents have died due to COVID-19 since the start of the Pandemic last Spring.
The department updates the numbers after residency and cause of death have been confirmed by the Taney County Coroner's Office and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service.
The Health Department reminds residents that there are several tools in combating COVID-19 and the Delta Variant including vaccination, face coverings or masks, social distancing, and good hygiene.
