Taney County Health Department Releases Updated COVID Death Numbers

The Taney County Health Department releases information on five additional COVID-19 Deaths in July.

In a release last week, officials announce the two of the County Residents that passed away were in their 70's with the other three being individuals each being in their 40's, 50's, and 60's. The Health Department releases these numbers once the cause of death and residence of the victims have been confirmed by the Taney County Coroner and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. 

TCHD in the release continues to remind the community that there are three tools available to lessen their likelihood of getting COVID-19: vaccination, physical distancing, and wearing a face covering. The public is being asked to consider using more than one of these tools as part of a multi-layered approach due to the prevalence and severity of the Delta variant.
