Taney County Emergency Administrator: Good Time to Stay Home

The continuing winter precipitation falling in the region is a good reason to not get out if possible according to Taney County's Emergency Management Administrator.

Chris Berndt, during a conversation on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program says that conditions changed quickly and that hazardous road conditions will still be an issue over the next 24-48 hours. Berndt says if you must get out or are trying to get home, make sure you have plenty of fuel in your vehicles and emergency supplies in case you get stuck. 

Berndt also says staying at home helps First Responders in answering calls for emergency situations by make sure there is little traffic on the roads.
