Southern Stone County Firefighters were busy with a pair of incidents on Sunday.
According to posts from the district's Facebook page, units from Branson, Central Crossing, and Western Taney County joined Southern Stone County Firefighters on the scene of a structure fire on Joe Bald Road to battle the blaze which impacted the residence and an exterior deck fully involved.
Due to the hot temperatures plus the heat of the fire, Southern Stone County Ambulance and SSCFPD Auxiliary personnel were on the scene to assist.
The Missouri State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire according to the post.
Later in the early evening, Southern Stone County Firefighters were called to Harbor Marina in Indian Point to battle a fire on a boat that was docked.
The fire started in the interior cabin and was quickly knocked down. The Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Division and Indian Point Police assisted on the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
