The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is closing the swim beach at Aunts Creek Campground on Table Rock Lake until further notice because of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing.
USACE has posted signs indicating high bacteria levels at the swim beach. Park rangers will reopen the swim beach when test results indicate bacteria levels are within an acceptable range.
To check the status of other swim beaches contact the Table Rock Lake Project Office at 417-213-4810 or visit www.swl.usace.army.mil/Home/Swim-Beach-Closures/.
