The quiet weather of the last few days will give way to a stormy pattern to end the week.
National Weather Service Forecasters say a line of thunderstorms will move through the region with a marginal chance of storms becoming severe with hail the primary threat. The front will move through slowly which leads to an opportunity of an inch of rain or more in the region.
Storms will end on Friday morning but could redevelop in the form of scattered storms late in the day. Another chance of rain will enter the forecast Sunday and Monday.
