While the Lakes Region did dodge the heaviest of the severe weather, the storms that did move through did impact events.
The first event of the season at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena, the Concert for Conservation featuring Chris Janson, John Anderson, and the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, had to be cancelled with the storms moving through in the late afternoon/early evening. Bass Pro officials say in a release that individuals that purchased tickets for the show can get a refund at the point of purchase. The release said the official premier concert of the season featuring Morgan Wallen is still scheduled for this Saturday.
Weather Forecasters say that while the front the caused the severe storms passed through the area, it will be stalling just south of the Missouri-Arkansas Boarder continuing the chances for rain and some storms through the rest of the week.
