A frontal system moving through the area does bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms, though the chances have decreased according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
As of this morning, the Lakes Region only has a 20 to 50% chance of rain though if isolated storms do develop, there is a chance they could become severe with strong wind and hail. Winds are expected to be gusty throughout the day with gusts up to 35 MPH possible.
After another warm day on Wednesday, the rest of the week calls for rain chances and high temperatures back down to the 60s by Friday.
