A 65-year-old Stone County man has died when his vehicle overturned north of Crane Wednesday afternoon.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was driving his Polaris Ranger on Billy Joe Road when he drove into a hole causing the vehicle to overturn. The victim, not named in the report due to recent changes in MSHP Procedures not naming accident victims, was pronounced dead at the scene by Stone County Coroner John Cunnyngham.
This is the 102nd fatality in traffic crashes worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2024.
