The Stone County Health Department is assisting in a program that allows individuals to receive COVID-19 Vaccinations in their home.
Community Health Specialist Monica Mueller says during the latest edition of the At Your Service Podcast that the Health Department is backing up a program from CoxHealth at Home that gets vaccines out to those that can't get to a clinic location. Mueller says Health Department personnel go out to administer those shots if a CoxHealth Staff member is unable to do so. Mueller says those interested in the getting the shots at home can call the Health Department for more information or by calling Cox directly at 417-269-HOME.
Mueller also says that shots are available pretty much everyday either at the Health Department or mobile locations.
Mueller also discusses a grant the Health Department received for $100,000 for Marijuana Abuse Prevention.
