Josh Heston of State of the Ozarks talked about the State of the Ozarks Festival set for this Saturday in Hollister.
Heston said the festival is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 17. Live steel-fighting group The Order of the Red Boar, Kom Hot Yoga demonstrations, the Feast of the Goblin King and more will be present. This is year number six for the event.
Heston said the event has experienced growth, especially in community awareness. The event is a well-received favorite with attendees who return each year. The event is put on by a Hollister-based online magazine, State of the Ozarks.
Heston called the festival one of the most unique street festivals in the area. The festival also welcomes live entertainment. Heston said College of the Ozarks Culinary Club will serve their barbeque macaroni and cheese.
