A project that has seen several delays may be getting the Green Light in 2025.
Elevate Branson Founder and CEO Bryan Stallings, during an interview this week on KRZK's "The Upside" program, says that Community Development Block Grant Program approved their budget amendment to be able to break ground on The Tiny Home Development in the first quarter of next year. The development has been in the planning stages since 2020.
Stallings said the project's goal is to provide safe and affordable housing for low income workers in the area. Stallings said the goal is to have up to 70 homes in the development that can house one or two people.
Stallings also talked about some of the other programs continuing and developing over the last few years including recently added mental health services. Stallings also discussed the expansion of Elevate to other communities in southwest Missouri.
