Emergency personnel rescue person unconscious in Table Rock Lake.
The release from the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District:
On July 26, 2026, at 5:29 p.m., Southern Stone County Fire Protection District (SSCFPD) water rescue crews responded to a water-related emergency in the vicinity of Paradise Landing in Kimberling City.
Initial reports indicated the victim was unconscious and unresponsive in the water. SSCFPD personnel quickly reached the patient and began providing emergency medical care while still in the water, continuing treatment until the victim could be safely brought ashore.
Stone County Ambulance District paramedics assumed advanced medical care upon reaching shore and transported the patient to a nearby landing zone, where the victim was transferred to a Life Line helicopter for air transport to a Springfield hospital.
SSCFPD was assisted by the Stone County Ambulance District and other responding public safety agencies.
