The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) is opening its December schedule with a festive hands-on workshop led by artist Julie, according to a SMAC Facebook post.
The “Sea Glass Holiday Tree” class gives participants the chance to create a glowing holiday decoration using frosted clear glass and transparent colored beads. Julie will guide attendees through arranging the materials on a cone structure to form a decorative tree. Each project includes a light puck and remote to illuminate the finished piece.
SMAC says the workshop offers a simple way to bring holiday cheer into any room during the Christmas season.
Tickets are available on the organization’s website.
