Silver Dollar City is set to open on Saturday and visitors to the park during their Spring Break hours may get a chance to experience the park's newest ride.
According to a post on the Silver Dollar City Attractions Facebook Page, the new Fire in the Hole will be operating periodically from opening day through the March 24th. The new $30 Million Ride is an updated version of the original Fire in the Hole that opened in 1972 and ran for 51 years through last December. The new ride is located in the Fire District, formerly Fireman's Landing, area of the park.
The Grand Opening for the new Fire in the Hole is scheduled for Saturday March 30.
Silver Dollar City will be open daily from this Saturday through the 24th during Spring Break for schools across the region.
More details on the opening days can be found on the Silver Dollar City Attractions Facebook Page.
