The sign-up period for candidates for the Missouri April Elections is underway.
Tuesday was the first day to sign-up for residents wanting to be on the ballot for City, School Board, and other local political subdivisions for the election that will take place on April 7.
In Branson, incumbent Aldermen Glenn Schulz in Ward 2 and Ralph LeBlanc in Ward 3 signed up for to run for another term while in Ward 1, Alex Williams signed up for that position. Current Alderman Marshall Howden announced earlier this year he would not seek another term in office.
The sign-up period ends on December 30.
