There have been a few changes in the Stone County Court and Judicial System.
The shifting began in August when then Associate Circuit Judge Alan Blankenship was tabbed by Missouri Governor Mike Parson to become Circuit Judge for the 39th Judicial Circuit. Parson later appointed Stone County Prosecuting Attorney Matt Selby to take Blankenship's position as Associate Judge, an appointment that began last week with Selby being sworn into office.
The Branson Tri-Lakes News reports that Pat Sullivan will fill the Prosecutor's role until a fulltime Prosecuting Attorney is appointed by the Circuit Court.
More details on the story can be found on the Branson Tri-Lakes News Website.
