Forecaster predict two rounds of showers and thunderstorms in the Lakes Region today.
The first will move through this morning with a Marginal to Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms with strong winds and hail the primary threat. Another round of severe storms are possible late this afternoon and evening followed by a brief break on Thursday before a stronger front will bring more rain chances and cooler temperatures by the weekend.
Highs are expected in the 60s over the weekend then back to the 70s by first of next week.
