Possible Scam Alert!
Several Nixa Utilities customers have reported receiving a letter in the mail from the American Water Resources of Missouri, stating customers need to sign up for coverage or risk paying $10,000 for water issues. This notification is not affiliated with the City of Nixa or Nixa Utilities. A message like this would not come from the City. Please alert your neighbors and elderly friends & family so they are aware of this scam.
