Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signs an Executive Order Thursday to provide relief following the severe storms that came through over the holiday weekend.
The order, following up on the Emergency Declaration for several counties including Baxter, Boone, Carroll, Madison, and Marion, will extend state deadlines for property filings for those counties.
In another release from Governor Sanders Office, it is announced that President Joe Biden has approved Sanders’s request for federal assistance for tornado victims. The current declaration covers areas of Benton, Boone, and Marion Counties but can be extended to other counties as damage is assessed according to the release.
