The Lakes Region could see more rain and some severe thunderstorms over the next few days.
The National Weather Service says after a mostly dry and warm day, rain will move through late this evening and Wednesday. Though the best chance of severe storms are in western Kansas and western Missouri, a Marginal Risk for Severe Weather will be in place with the potential for heavy rain during the storms in the Lakes Region.
After a break Thursday, storms will move back into the region Friday evening into Saturday.
Temperatures will remain above normal throughout the week before more seasonable temperatures move into the area during the weekend.
