The Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake is helping to make sure children stay warm this winter.
The group has purchased mittens and gloves for all kindergartners and first graders in Stone County.
"We know many families are struggling this time of year," said club member Ben Fisher. "Hopefully, this eases the burden on parents a little bit and the kids can enjoy more time playing outside."
The Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake purchased the mittens and gloves with money raised from its annual 5k walk/run, which was held in October at the Port of Kimberling.
