An organization is helping to rehome over 60 cats whose owner passed away earlier this month.
Ozark Homeward Bound Rescue based in Harrison posted on their Facebook page that a man who lived in the Harrison-Valley Springs area died earlier this month leaving behind the cats. The organization is looking for permanent homes for the cats or temporary foster homes to alleviate the situation, which according to a follow-up report over the weekend by KY-3 News, has now grown to over 70.
Donations are also being sought to help care for the cats. Sone of the donations needed include:
Food
Blankets

Nexgard
Donations are accepted thru PayPal, mail, and or at Equity Bank according to the post which can be found on the Ozark Homeward Bound Rescue Facebook Page.
