The search for a man that has been missing from the Branson area since mid-June has ended in a remote area of Arkansas.
According to press releases obtained by Ozarks First, during the week of June 15th, Eric Williamson was reported missing with several area law enforcement agencies engaged in trying to locate him. During the investigation of his disappearance, it was revealed that Williamson had been shot by another man at a residence on Concord Ave. in Branson. That man was arrested earlier this week on outstanding warrants and after an interview with the suspect, authorities eventually discovered Williamson's burnt car in a rural area of Boone County with remains identified as Williamson inside.
Charges are pending in this case according to the release.
